The Kashmere Former Athletes Association was founded on February 13, 2013 by a group of energized male and female former student-athletes of Kashmere, also to include the cheerleader squads. Russel Charles c/o 1971 was elected President of KFAA, a position that he still holds. In 2014 KFAA became a 501c3 association with the goal in mind to support Kashmere Athletics. KFAA’S mission is to connect, support and advocate the true spirit of Kashmere High, engaging former student-athletes/cheerleader to build lifelong friendships that support and encourage the future of Kashmere High Athletes. We seek to create an ongoing communication with former student-athletes and the entire Kashmere High Community. Individually, we as former student-athletes and cheerleaders personify Kashmere traditions and are an integral part of the ongoing success of our current program. As former students we’re a part of this legacy and KFAA greatly value your contribution to our history. It is KFAA hope to preserve and celebrate the athletic heritage and tradition of this great school. KFAA will develop partnerships and apply our energies and resources toward a better athletic program.

KFAA in 2013 set their goals to develop a comprehensive database of former student-athletes and cheerleaders and to form a historic athletic archive for Kashmere High. KFAA set out to coordinate a guideline for nominations of Distinguished Alumnus to be called “Ring of Honors” to include coaches, student-athletes, cheerleaders and supporters of Kashmere Former Athletes Association. With the continue rise of college tuitions KFAA has made the commitment to award numerous scholarships to graduating seniors each year. Our annual Gala Banquet is in our anniversary month (February) we induct honorees to our Ring of Honor and recognize our scholarship winners from past year and the university they’re attending.
