About Us
The Kashmere Former Athletes Association (KFAA) was founded on February 13, 2013 by a passionate group of former student-athletes from Kashmere High School. Led by Russell Charles (Class of 1971)—who continues to serve as President—KFAA became a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2014 with the mission to support Kashmere Athletics and preserve its rich legacy.
Our Mission
KFAA’s mission is to connect, support, and advocate for the true spirit of Kashmere High. We engage former athletes to build lifelong bonds while encouraging and uplifting the next generation of Kashmere athletes.
We are committed to fostering lasting communication between alumni and the wider Kashmere High community. As former athletes, we embody the traditions of Kashmere and remain an essential part of its ongoing success. Your contributions as alumni are deeply valued, and we aim to preserve and celebrate the athletic heritage that defines our school.
Our Work and Impact
Since our founding, KFAA has:
- Developed a growing database of former athletes
- Established a historic athletic archive for Kashmere High
- Created the “Ring of Honor” to recognize distinguished alumni, coaches, and supporters
- Committed to awarding annual scholarships to graduating seniors
- Hosted our Annual Gala Banquet each February, where we induct Ring of Honor honorees and recognize scholarship recipients
Together, we invest our time, energy, and resources to uplift today’s athletes and ensure that the legacy of Kashmere excellence endures for generations to come.
