Milton Turner

Milton Turner is a proud graduate of Kashmere Senior High School, Class of 1972. During his years at Kashmere, Milton was known as the ultimate student-athlete, excelling in multiple sports including football and track. As a sophomore, he made a remarkable mark on the field, participating in the Junior Varsity City Championship game where he scored four touchdowns in the second half from the arm of Freddie Branche as they put up an amazing 500 yards total offense. His athletic talent continued to shine, earning him recognition as one of the top five receivers in the state of Texas the next two years. Milton also represented his school and community on the track, competing in the Junior AAU Summer Olympics as part of the 4×4 relay team and winning a gold medal. His dedication and competitive spirit were evident in every sport he played, making him a standout among his peers.

After graduation, Milton attended Texas Southern University before beginning a long and successful career with the United States Postal Service, where he received two merit awards for his outstanding service. Following his retirement from the Postal Service, Milton continued to demonstrate his leadership skills as a supervisor at Autocrat Electronics until the companyโ€™s closure.

Beyond his professional and athletic accomplishments, Milton finds his greatest pride in his family. He is the devoted husband of his best friend, Michelle Turner, and the proud father of two daughters who have both dedicated their careers to education. Milton is also a loving grandfather to five grandchildren, who continues to bring joy and inspiration to his life.

Milton extends his heartfelt gratitude to all of the teammates he played alongside over the years for their commitment, support, and brotherhood, both on and off the field.
