Linda Richard-Haskett

Linda Richard-Haskett, a 1971 Kashmere High School graduate. She was a three year letterman as a volleyball player for Coach Ozell Harris. Her senior season the Rams advanced to the playoff from district 19 4A. She was a member of the Future Homemakers of America under the sponsorship of Mrs Ruth Polan.

After graduation Linda widely known as โ€œBig Redโ€ would gain employment with a Mortgage and Trust Firm. After 7.5 years she would move on to work for the City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department. Linda received many accolades in her 22 years of services; Employee of the Year Award and the Mayor Lee Brown proclaim May 1, 2004 as โ€œLinda Haskett Dayโ€ as she received the proclamation on her retirement day.  

I married my high school love Toney Haskett and we had two children Toney Haskett (deceased) and Latarsha Haskett-Agnew. I have 2 wonderful grandsons Toney Haskett and DaMarcus Agnew, 1 great grandson Jamire Agnew and 3 great granddaughters Emory Agnew, Anarie Agnew & Jayde Haskett.

As former students weโ€™re a part of this legacy and KFAA greatly value your contribution to our history. It is KFAA hope to preserve and celebrate the athletic heritage and tradition of this great school. KFAA will develop partnerships and apply our energies and resources toward a better athletic program.
