Pandler Diann Pyrtle-Johnson

Pandler Diann Pyrtle-Johnson, also known to most as “Pam”, was born January 1, 1953 and raised in “Trinity Garden” located in Houston, Texas. Diann was the third child of five and from home to school she was always a pleasure to be around. She attended J.C. Sanderson Elementary, Terrell Middle School, and finally Kashmere High School, home of the mighty RAMS class of 1971. Here she was a cheerleader Junior and Senior years 69-71. She was quiet, yet an all-around outgoing student, with a fun loving and warm nature. She loved her school and her classmates and any chance she could she was there to support!

Diann graduated class of 1971, attended Southwest Business College, where her professional career as an executive secretary began. She then went on to pursue a career in Inside Sales with Big Three Industries/Air Liquide where she retired after 25 dedicated years of service.

Diann is the loving mother of two children Anthony Reynolds and LaToya Johnson, and “granny” to three Reginald, Tayla, and Noah. She loved God and with the same unconditional love of God loved her family. She was a member and faithful steward of Greater New Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of late Rev Paul Jones then Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir.

Diann’s Love language was through your stomach, everyone knew Pam could COOK! This was a craft perfected starting in the kitchen with her mom, along with sewing, and decorating. Pandler “PAM” Diann Pyrtle Johnson left an amazing legacy of love, and compassion to both her family and her fellow RAM family class of 1971. She made her transition January 30, 2011 and today her great legacy still lives on.
