Willie Limbrick

Willie L. Limbrick attended Kashmere Gardens Jr Sr High School located @ 4400 Hirsch Road near Kelly. He was a member of the Rams football and track teams. Willie lettered two years in both sports under the direction of Billie Matthews in football and Thomas Hendricks in track. Willie graduate from Kashmere in 1966 and earned a scholarship to attend Prairie View University. He lettered in football as a running back for Prairie View. Willie obtain his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology in 1972.ย 

Willie was a Candidate for Military School Officer in the United States Air Force station in San Antonio, Texas. He was employed by Armco Steel from 1973 through 1979 with the closure of Corporation. Willie would then begin working international for KBR as a Converโ€™s Commander. As a KBR employee Willie was awarded the Log Cabin 3 for his outstanding service to the company. Upon returning to the United States he became a truck driver covering every corner of the United States. His faith is Islamic Faith as Muslin. Willie is now retired and a quiet life in Houston, Texas.

Individually, we as former student-athletes and cheerleaders personify Kashmere traditions and are an integral part of the ongoing success of our current program. As former students weโ€™re a part of this legacy and KFAA greatly value your contribution to our history. It is KFAA hope to preserve and celebrate the athletic heritage and tradition of this great school. KFAA will develop partnerships and apply our energies and resources toward a better athletic program.
