Anthony Wiltz

Anthony Wiltz III a 2012 Kashmere student-athlete is the son of Anthony and Tontra. He was born and raised on the Southside of Houston Texas. Anthony was first introduced to Kashmere by grandfather and his coach Jeffrey Newsome, during the 2006 at Kashmereโ€™s legend Rodney Hampton football camp. At the camp Anthony was introduced to the great Garry Dunham and the rest of Anthonyโ€™s football career became Kashmere history. Anthony would attend Kashmere in the fall of 2009 and by Anthonyโ€™s sophomore year he was a part of the varsity football team.  His junior year Anthony took over as the starting quarterback and leaded Kashmere to the playoff.  He received all district honors that season and also was selected to play on the National 7on7 select team in Florida that year. His senior year Anthony again lead Kashmere to another playoff appearance after an undefeated regular season. Again he was selected First Team All-District and was awarded MVP honors. He was selected again to play for the National 7on7 team in Cleveland Ohio. He leaded the national team to a 3rd place title in the country.  After graduating Kashmere High in 2012 Anthony earned a scholarship to Prairie View A&M University as a wide receiver and punt returner. Anthony lettered four years in football and graduated with B.S in Kinesiology. After graduating Anthony played Arena football for the Corpus Christi Rage. After playing professionally Anthony made the decision to return to Houston and gained employment at Kashmere as a special education teacher. With five years of teaching and coaching experience Anthony is now doing early childhood therapy for emotionally disturbed child.

As former students weโ€™re a part of this legacy and KFAA greatly value your contribution to our history. It is KFAA hope to preserve and celebrate the athletic heritage and tradition of this great school. KFAA will develop partnerships and apply our energies and resources toward a better athletic program.
